Go mobile with the new Aetna HealthSM app
Staying healthy is important. So is keeping track of your benefits. But with everything else you have going on, managing it all can be a challenge.
The Aetna Health app can help. From finding a doctor and comparing costs to paying claims and viewing your ID card, the app is your all-in-one resource for the information you need. Please note: the new Aetna Health app will replace Aetna Mobile, so remember to download the new app.
If a time comes when you’re dealing with more complex health challenges, you can be assigned a nurse to work with you over the phone on an ongoing basis. Or if you have an ongoing health concern like diabetes, heart disease, asthma and low back pain, your nurse may call to check in from time to time. These services are included as part of your plan.
You may also get a letter or phone call from us, depending on your needs. Don’t forget, your caller ID may not say Aetna when we call. That depends on your phone carrier.
Care that works for you
As always, your care should be decided by you, your family and your doctor. But with more information, you can make better-informed decisions about your health.
Your conversations are completely confidential. We don’t share this information with your employer, and we keep all information confidential as required by law.
In addition to the suite of digital health services that you currently have through NYP OnDemand you'll also have 24/7 access to a doctor with Teladoc®. Both programs have a $25 copay for each consultation.
Services covered through Teladoc include general medical care, behavioral health and dermatology.
You can contact Teladoc at 1-855-Teladoc (835-2362), 24 hours, 7 days a week.

Many people who die by suicide give warning signs. Take these signs seriously. It could save a life. You can learn more in the Guide to understanding and preventing suicide.
Some life events can be overwhelming. Like having a baby. Or finding out you have diabetes or heart disease. They signal that you may need to make some changes.
You can also feel emotions like worry, depression, confusion or anger. All of these feelings are normal. But they can hinder your ability to take control and make healthy lifestyle changes.
It’s all a matter of control. And it’s important to know and feel that you can control the condition, instead of the condition controlling you.
Aetna’s AbleTo program can help.
